THE BRIT AWARDS: WRETCH 32 SNUB

Award ceremonies are always explosive nights for artists , the music industry and go'ers- and The BRIT Awards in the UK is no exception. Established in 1977, the award ceremony has had the most memeroble moments in history and boasts performance from Jay- Z and Alicia Keys, Lady GaGa, Adele, The Spice Girls, U2 and Michael Jackson. Gaining an award from the BRITs is a big things for artist- especially UKs own!

Nomination were announced last week and has left artists like Adele, Jessie J, Ed Sheeran and JLS flying high and other's not happy!

Wretch 32, grime/pop rapper, gained his break in January 2011, with club track 'Traktor', then leading onto big charts smashes 'Don't Go' and 'Unorthodox'. '32 also saw his debut album 'Black and White' release to critically acclaim, however was snub in the Best British Male category this year!

Speaking to the Daily Star, he said: "The Brits are such a big deal, it would have been huge to have been nominated. But after an hour of being angry, I just sat back and went, 'Hey, it wasn't meant to be'.
"It's sad not to be nominated, but if you're not in the running when everybody knows you should have been, then that's cool. When you get massive love from supporters, none of the other stuff matters."

Wretch keep your head up high! Even though I feel he should have been at least nominated, everything is in good time and just means he need to step his game up for 2012.

What's your thoughts?
