'The Complications of Lust,' written and directed by Solomon Spence, is a romantic drama which seeks to explore the difference between love and lust. Spence invites his audience to delve into the sordid world of four characters willing to risk it all to find love. The play revolves around the love lives of two guys and two girls; Naomi is blissfully unaware that her steady, 'good guy' Tobias is actually sleeping with her best friend Rochelle, whose ex-boyfriend Floyd – the typical player – is chasing her, the one that got away. The play was well cast, Nick Korsa who played Floyd kept the audience entertained with his humourous stage presence whilst the naivety of Anna Swan's character helped maintain the right balance of comedy and seriousness throughout the play. If you don't mind hearing the occassional swear word, you're in to black comedy then I highly reccommend seeing 'The Complications of Lust' the next time it's out, not only will it entertain you but will also open your mind about the difference betweeen LOVE an LUST.
