The Independence of a Country is supposed to be a proud day full of celebration and life but this year Jamaican Independence Day garned a lot of banter, especially from the Nigerians. One poerson tweeted 'DO THEY ADVERTISE FATHERS DAY IN JAMAICA OR IS IT JUST ONE BIG FANTASY' whilst another said 'LOOOOL JAMAICANS GO COP TOM TOMs n TYPE IN THE ADDRESS BAR "MY DAD' . Nobody truly knows the reason behind the banter that has been going on between Jamaicans and Nigerians but the time has come for it to stop, it doesn't matter if you are joking or being serious, it is completely out of order for someone to insult an entire nationality, especially on their independence day, we are black and we should all be celebrating the day TOGETHER.
