Leona Lewis - Collide

It's been a long time since we've heard anything musical fromn Leona Lewis (she popped up on the red carpet a few times looking quite revamped with a new fringe & a weird lip top,but that was all). Judging by the response her latest track 'Collide' is receiving perhaps she should have stayed away a bit longer and worked on her comeback single a bit more.

The minute I heard it I thought I had the wrong song. She's basically speaking her way through it until the chorus where the Leona we know and love resurrects herself with some lovely notes. But that's it. The whole song is just all over the place & unfortunately unlike Beyonce - Run the World I don't even think 'Collide' will grow on me.



I really want Leona to find a genre that suits her and that she's comfortable with as all of her efforts past 'Run' have disappointed me. Bearing in mind she recently broke up with her childhood sweetheart I'll forgive her this ONE last time. Honestly though her voice is too beautiful to be wasted on half-hearted efforts such as 'Collide'. For the sake of all your fans Leona PLEASE get it together and show everyone that you're not just a pretty face...and leave the desperate dance music to Kelly Rowland.
